About Ainsley

We carry her name—and her kindness—into every life we touch.

Ainsley Paige Kilgore—known to so many as "Loopy"—was a bright, bold, and unforgettable soul who left a lasting impact on everyone she met. Born on June 6, 1991, Ainsley brought energy, laughter, and compassion into every space she entered. She was the kind of person who could turn an ordinary day into an adventure, the glue that held friendships together, and the spark behind every fun idea.

Ainsley was fiercely intelligent, earning both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Criminal Justice from the University of New Haven. She built a career she was proud of, working in law enforcement and security. But beyond her accomplishments, she was most known for her big heart, her loyalty, and her love for her people—and her cats.

Ainsley battled alcohol addiction for many years, and despite her strength, it ultimately took her life at the age of 33. Her story is not one of weakness, but of resilience. She fought hard, loved deeply, and never lost her vibrant spirit. She was surrounded by friends and family when she passed, a reflection of the profound love she gave so freely.

Ainsley’s Closet was created in her honor—an extension of the kindness and care she showed to others throughout her life. It serves individuals and families in recovery by providing clothing, dignity, and a reminder that no one walks this journey alone. Through every item shared and every life touched, Ainsley’s light continues to shine.
